Prices on early 550's seem to have settled in the £45,000 - 55,000 range. Are further drops likely or have they hit fully depreciation ?

Will the launch of the 575 replacement further push the market down or perhaps pull it up by generating more interest ?

I have seen everything up to the year 2000 at $140k and below, most of them under $130k even with less than 6000 miles. The cheapest I have seen is $105k with 30,000 miles and less than perfect condition, good but not excellent. I personally do not think that they are going to go sub-$100k in the next few years, I am looking to spend around $130 or so for the right one I just have not found it yet, but will continue the search and maybe with winter/new spring models on the way the right one will be in my garage soon, but at this point in the year it pays me to wait as it can not be driven here in the winter.

I saw one for sale around 90k USD, it was an earlier model with 7k miles. I think the main reason it is holding its price is because it is so similar to the 575m. I strongly believe that most 550s will fall below the 100k mark when the 600 Imola hits the market. It already has a lot of buzz and Im sure there will be a tremendouns amount of interest and (as a consequence) a small surge in 550s on the market. I say hold out on the 550 purchase at least until the unveiling of the 600. At that point people will sell their 550 with hopes of aqcuiring Modenas newest creation.

I wouldn't be so optimistic about 550 prices. They're already quite low. Prices will continue falling, but slowly in my opinion.

Take a look at 360 prices : they're not falling as fast as expected in spite of lack of depreciation.

To sum up : 360 prices are falling, but not that fast; and the 550 prices will continue falling but more slowly than the 360's value.
