Not in person, but I know they are out there. I believe 2 were built by the factory prior to the Barchetta version. There are still companies that convert Maranello's to convertible.

I think the car on the picture is a Straman conversion.

Besides that, Ferrari made ONLY ONE `550 Spider` for the Sultan of Brunei, not two. I´ve seen the car and got reliable info about it. See one of my photo albums:

No, I was actually looking for one of the custom made 550 Spiders. Legend hs it that 2 or 3 were produced prior to the introduction of the 550 Barchetta.
