Thought it would be a good idea to make a list of 550/575 owners on Ferrarilife

Please post up a picture of your 550/575 and some info about it. It's up to you what info you want to provide but an example would be:

Example:
Model: 550
Year: 1998
Country: Belgium
Steering: LHD
Chassis number: 104952
Ferrari colour: Rosso Corsa
Interior colour: Blanco

In order to keep the thread on topic, please only post once in this thread with all the info you would like to provide on your 550/575.

Thanks.

Congratulations on tracking down a magnificent 575M manual, Boxer. I look forward to driving and ownership comparisons with your previous 550 as well as back to back driving impressions with your Daytona. Something very special about the front-engined V12 Ferrari's.
Bluebird

To replace my beloved 993, I have found, with the help of my dear friend, Onno, my Ferrari version of the 993, that is to say, a wonderful combination of traditional layout and analogue driving skills allied to enough technology to make her fast and usuable without spoiling the driving thrills. I am thrilled beyond words! Every time Onno has generously handed me the keys to his 550, I have been smitten!

#108338 is Sebring blue with cuoio interior and matching 6 piece fitted luggage set. I am the third owner. She is waiting for me at my specialist until March for my birthday and after Winter in Central Eastern Europe. I will drive her for the first time in March. Hope I can wait that long!

Thank you for your kind words, Gentlemen. I am so excited about the bluebird. In fact my first FerrariLife post back in August 2007 was to introduce myself and to ask whether it would be better to aim for a 550 or 365 GTC/4 given that their values were more or less on a par in those days. I received well considered responses, particularly from Boxer and JazzyO, and I dreamt that one day I would add a 550 to my stable. Bluebird ticks all the boxes for me in terms of condition, colour and spec and a bonus is that I am buying her from my trusted Ferrari specialist and friend.

Thank you for your kind words, Gentlemen. Sharing my excitement at owning my first front engined V12 Ferrari with my FerrariLife friends who truly get it, adds enormously to the thrill. Roll on March! And FLED 8!
Great looking 550, Faisal. Drive her in good health and safety!
A fine stable, Seth! Apart from the Caddy, all gorgeous shades of blue. Nice. Would be interested to hear you driving and ownership impressions of 575 vs 355 vs 412. 412 intriguing, I have always had a soft spot for the 365/400/412 series. Looking forward to meeting you and Judith in Bratislava, hopefully this Summer. Spring started this week and it is looking good!
The 412 is also a perfect on-target hit for Ferrari: again, a very large gran turismo with room for four in a pinch and lots of golf clubs. Performance, while adequate, falls perceptably short of any road Ferrari I've driven, even including my old 365GTC with its 320 bhp...
Fascinating insights into the 355 vs 575 vs 412 Seth, many thanks. Funnily enough I was just thinking how beautifully put together the Maranellos are when you made this very point in your write up.

Would be interested to hear more about you 365 GTC prototipo...
Can't wait to pick up the 550 Maranello in Bratislava and have a weekend road trip with Vitalone in a couple of weeks. The weekend after, the 330GTC should be ready after a freshing-up and the 458 will be back on plates....

I think the bear is slowly crawling out of the snow cave! :)
Onno
Indeed, Spring is here and what a great way to crawl out of our caves by taking our magnificent Maranellos for a drive through Austria! Looking forward to it!
Nice one! My custom model is in the process of being assembled. The before picture shows the body in resale red. The current picture shows it in bare metal form ready to receive the Sebring Blu paint...

Can't wait to see the next pics Vital. Please let me know what spray gun you are using and did you thin down touch-up paint or did you use something else. My 550 is TDF with a crema interior and woud love to make a model for mine.
Thanks PRS Guitarist, here is the next instalment. The first picture shows her with the Sebring Blu base coat from a touch bottle sourced on EBay. The next picture shows the acrylic lacquer applied.

David,
very nice the Blue bird in miniature ...:thumbsup:
Thank you for your kind words gentlemen. Bluebird mini-me is authentic down to its Winter tyres on such a Winter's day. Even bluebird on a 1:1 scale does not have these!
