Mon Amiral, who's that pudgy OTHER white-haired guy you've permitted to sit at the wheel of the little bleu car? ;-)

Standards are going all to hell, mon Amiral.

Good luck with the auction and godspeed to the little blue race car! May the new guardian be as faithful as its former.

Dear Dinosaur followers,

On 24 June, 1960 when I handed over two checks totaling $2,225.00 for a pile of damaged goods I had no idea what the next 58 years would bring. So today looking back over those 58 years I am amazed at what has transpired. I have done more things with this car than I had ever imagined and so now it is time to move on and transfer the custodianship role to the next person. I only hope they derive as much pleasure from telling people and driving this machine as I have. This short clip really sums it up nicely.

Hard for me to look at those pictures.
Like looking at a tiger caged in a zoo
That car should be roaming free in Santa Fe.
Or better yet, ANNAPOLIS. ;-)

Dear Dinosaur followers,

Best regards,

Robert
Mon Amiral,

#22 was the race number on Luigi Chinetti Sr.'s 1949 24 Heures du Mans-winning 166MM barchetta. Also was the race number of LT Seth Rosner's (very occasional) class-winning Triumph TR3 just about the time you found and saved the little blue race car.

Good luck to you, HelenAnn and 0556(0446) the little blue car!

Respectfully,

Seth
