I can find nothing appealing about that car. Which sucks ofcourse because you spent a lot of money on it :green:

The clean elegance of the 456 still excites me. It is so much more difficult to use simple lines to style a car as well as this. Perhaps the simplicity is why it looks so good through time. This photo does capture an unusual perspective. Thank you for sharing.

WaaaaHOoooie.

Little Brian of Brian Cralls, in San Ramon, drove my 456 to Sacramento where we met up and exchanged keys.

MAN, what a difference. So that is how an adjusted clutch is supposed to feel...go figure. Amazing what familiarity can breed.

Had the two rear shocks rebuilt, and they are good to go. Run like a muscle champ of a work horse. COOOl, Cool and WAY COOL

BTW, In Sacto, there 'were' three seperate companies in exoctic spare parts, now only two.

The warehouse we visited on Sat. had cand alllll over the place. Drooling never susided.

They don't even know what they acquired becuase of poor inventory techniques, but what we saw, was huge.

Stay tuned. PS: Below one of out fav. wineries, about 6 miles away from home. Cordinu/Artesia
Here is a quick, abeit poor, youtube vid, I posted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75EvCjwbYiw&feature=channel_page

Found a recent entrant to the 456 market, that has some interesting possibilities. Duplicates mine, but with the installed optional $5,000 shields. Not entirely sure I like the shields.. Would use Yoshi and have the option of on/off.

But Item 330299996858 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferr...858QQitemZ330299996858QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks

is nice. From the driver's side window down, I'm betting 2:1 it has window issue that side which is typical, plug in a few bucks or DIY.

The hood wasn't down all the way for pics, but seems in order.

Kills me these are in the 30k-40k range, but if not sorted out, you'll easily be another 20k into it.

Typical sticky issues, and krinkle on the panel. Seems to have good leather, and the seats retract normally. Don't know the 30k service but the gauges are STRONG for up to temps. Fact he mentions no history makes me feel the service is up for re-doing: another few K

nice otherwise, nice wheels, I'm guessing.

WOW, with Halloween just about this is a good example of raising the ghost of threads....two years, not bad.

Thought BOXER was still looking? Having one bad experience on the 456 is no reason to throw them all out.

BTW: I really got to stop posting via cell...that spelling and grammar above is terrible, one would think I'm a Occupy Wall Street type
