I put a couple of hundred miles on the 456 GT yesterday . It is again a happy beast, having been able to stretch its legs. The 456 GT does just about everything you ask without ever even seeming to break a sweat. Most fun was blowing by BMW's and Mercedes on the hills . The Ferrari 12 cylinder engine is fantastic. If you need four seats, I don't think there is any other car that comes close.

That it is . It devours distances effortlessly. Other plus is that it does not wear on the driver. It really is a Ferrari that you can drive for 6+ hours very comfortably. Call it a civilized beast for 4.
Legroom is definitely more of an issue then headroom. Is the legroom any better on the 400i/412i 's ?
