Any idea where the horn trumpet on a 456 GT is located and how it can be accessed ? Thanks.

Kinnie, I only have the Owners Manual, not the parts manual, and it is not listed in the Owners Manual. My problem is that the hose that runs from the horn's blower to the trumpet has come loose and needs to be reattached. Only issue is I am not sure exactly where the trumpet is located (you can not see it from the top of the engine compartment) and how to access it. Thanks.

Can't you download the parts manual from the owners site? I don't have it, and I don't know how to acces it either

The owners site only has the Owners Manuals for downloading. Don't know where you can source the parts manuals.

I think some people will sell them on CD's on Ebay, but those are illegal copies. Maybe you can give the dealer a call?

It looks like I will have to. At a minimum I will need their help to get the car up on a lift.

Boxer42 needs them for the 456. How is the parting out of your 456 going? Did you keep any of the VIN-plates?

I still have a lot from that car, but the main part the engine is already sold. and some interior parts and some suspension parts are sold alsoo. Yes I still have all the VIN plates But I want to keep these for a wile. When I want to sell the I will contact you !

Kinnie, I know of two 550's with front end damage which are at a Salvage yard near Bristol in the UK. I can find the name of the place if you are interested.

I also know of a place in the US, but I guess it costs too much to get the cars over the big pond to belgium
