1st I have heard of it but don't think I would be able to make it in any event.

My next track excursion will be at Spa in early June.

you know it is just a charity, so I don't think race driver would go, but I wasn't in France last year at this period and it's a good oportunity to see a lot of different cars. People who own Ferrari will do bapteme, so I will but maybe I will have the chance to be passenger in a F40. I've never been in one. Sorry I'm quite new in Ferrari's world, just had a 330 and a 308...
personal question, when you go to Spa, which one of car you choose ? F50, F40 ??

It sounds like a wonderful event and I am a big supporter of using Ferrari shows or rides for charity. Putting the good work of the charity aside, it does help migrate a lot of the general public misperceptions of Ferrari owners.

For Spa, I am taking the 360 Challenge.

around the track, is the 360 Challenge faster than the F40 and F50?
I don't know but my perception is that the 360 Challenge on slicks is a bit faster than the F40 (on road tires) but not quite as quick as the F50. Just a perception based on having spent plenty of time driving the three. The 360 Challenge has much better brakes and grip than the F40 which would allow you to brake later and get back on the power earlier. In a straight line the F40 is faster. The F50 is on a different planet all over again.

Will you please hurry up and purchase an Enzo and Scuderia so we can get some more same driver, real life comparisons? :)

That was my fear, that the brakes and tires on the F40 would take it out of the fight.

Does the 360 Challenge have the same engine of the 360 Modena, or does it have more power?

I imagine that if you put slicks on the F50 you'll get very close to the Enzo on a track.

The 360s both ave the same engine.

My guess is that the F50 would be quicker than the Enzo on a track if you disconnected all the drivers aids on the Enzo.

Well, that would be like trying to fly an F22 without electronics. You'd never take off, and if you did any Spitfire would kick your but! hehehehe

Still, the power gap between the F50 and the Enzo is pretty impressive. Have you driven the Enzo already? It would be great to know how the F50 compares to the Enzo.

So the difference between the Modena and the Challenge is only weight/tires/aerodynamics? I had the impression that the engine was a bit better...

The engines are the same but they have added a few things to it in the Challenge to make it more suitable for racing (seperate oil cooler etc).

Hello,
Back from the meeting, just to let you know that they were 450 Ferraris !!
Most of them were modern ones, 430, 360 and 355 mainly.
Fews Enzos, maybe 10 F40, a lot of 430 scuderia, I've only seen one 288, but none F50 (as I remenber Boxer's thread comparing F40 to F50). Not a lot of old ones, few 250's, 10 Daytona's, only 3 BB512, (i and carb).
Some testarossas but not even one from the first generation.
Here are some pictures, weather were not from the party !!! (these I translate from French!).
I have one question because I'm not a specialist, why all the F40 had their licence plate with black tape on it ?
I found this on YouTube:
