03/04/2008 - 06/04/2008 - Maranello
365 GTB4 Anniversary Tour
Launched at the Paris Motor Show in 1968, the 365 GTB4 was to be the last in a long line of front-engined sporting berlinettas, right up until the introduction of the 550 Maranello in 1996.
The car quickly became a performance icon - with a sub-6 second 0-60 mph time and an official top speed of 174 mph - and was soon dubbed "Daytona" by aficionados in recognition of the Ferrari 1-2-3 victory in the Daytona 24-Hour Race in 1967.
To celebrate the model's introduction Ferrari is organising a special event for a maximum of 40 cars (both 365 GTB4s and GTS4s) which begins on Thursday April 3rd with the accreditation of the participants in Maranello and concludes at 16:00 on Sunday April 6th at Mugello in occasion of the 2nd Historic Festival.
