Anybody know what the original tire size was? The car currently has 215 70VR15 on it.

I am thinking of going to 215 65VR15 . These would be a little shorter than what's on it now. What I would like to know is what is correct for the car?

According to owners handbook and the homolagation papers the original tyres were Michelin 215 70VR 15

Thanks then the 215 65VR15 should work they should be about 5/8 inch lower than the original.

Tirerack still has a few Yokohama AVS avialable in the above size.

The other option is going to Michelin Energy MXV4s but they don't seem to have a great rating.
