How much is freight within the US and how much to Far East?

$15.00 outside US going USPS

The contact is in the Boca Raton, Florida. My friend goes there twice a year so the timing has to be right. The trouble with sending by freight is the Customs will want to see all sorts of documentations on top of paying the 40% import duty +5% sales tax. So hand carry is the only solution!
