Kinda, experimenting more than anything. Entry level Sony DVC, Manfrotto suction mount, new PC with firewire interface, and some exotic SW to re-encode mpeg2 in divx.

Will take a pic. It's a really simple set-up, the only constraint is that you must have a flat surface. As you can tell from the images, there isn't much vibration, quite impressive to see what you can achieve with vacuum. All funky shots in EVO and Sport Auto are taken with suction tripods and wide angle lenses.
This said, I am not sure I'd feel too confident about attaching the camera outside on the body.
Air leaks in after a long time (several hours) so you need to pump periodically, I guess that positive thermal swings could also inflate the remaining air and reduce suction force.
This said, value for money is really excellent.
