Does anyone know whether a 348's wheel lock(if it has any that can be modified in the first place) can be altered to adjust for the amount of steering required per turn? This of course refers to the fact that a 348 does not have power steering. Of course, I prefer not having power steering on a 348 and am just curious if this would be an option, even though I would not bother with is.

I have looked around a bit and could find no mention of any such thing done anywhere.

From my experience the steering becomes so light at speed that this modification would not only ruin the handling, but might pose a security risk too. This could be the reason that no one ever bothered with it.

Enzo did not think that parking was an issue for a Ferrari car, and since the 348 was the first car introduced after his demise, his way of thinking may still have prevailed. Then again he did not believe in the importance of brakes either, to judge from his quotes, and they fixed that bit pretty good.
