I am looking into a 328, and keep running across the 348's.
One feature that I like on the 328 is the ability for a skilled owner to swap out the clutch without removing the entire engine.
If I have read correctly, the 348 is not just a larger version of the same motor, but an entirely new design.
Is clutch / belt maininence the same on both series?

Should we be worried about the difference in maintance between the two?

Thanks

The 328 engine lies transversely across the car while the 348 is spun 90 degrees to longitudinal. While the "end-bits" of a 3.2 such as belts & clutch can be accessed from the sides & wheel-arches, a lot of the 348 bits are up against the firewall.

Talk to a Ferrari service mech about relative costs to service.
