Picture of my car

Here's a picture of my car from a recent Cars & Coffee hosted by a local detailing company. It looks like advertising but I have no affiliation with them, I just like the picture they took.

Yours must have been just before mine (Chassis number 80174) on the production line. Mine's also Rosso Corsa and tan, which apparently was the case for nearly all of the 1989-production 328s.

R/C Beige was always the most popular in the US but actually less common than R/C Black in Europe. Also the Europeans very often got the red carpets and here that color was not popular.

Alternate paint colors were about the same proportion of production in all years.

Wow, that's pretty close on the Chassis Number. It's funny that you mention the colour as a friend has the exact same car as me. The exact same. 1989, Swiss, Rosso Corsa over tan. I will find out his chassis number as it would be interesting to see how close they are. Is yours a Swiss version as well?

Thank you Taz. I like blue cars, particularly the darker shades, and think blues look good on many Ferrari models, especially the 60's cars. Blues seem to fall out of favor after the 308GT4, then came back into favor with the 355's. I wasn't specifically looking for a blue 328 but was happy to come across this one when I was looking for a good driver 328. Originally from Ron Tonkin and a Oregon car, then a Washington car, now a BC car. Making it's way north, but staying on the westcoast. Not many blue 328's - believe there is or was a blu chiarro / cream in the Bay area and blu sera / cream in Seattle area. .
