I have a 308 with the single distributor. Owners manuals being what they are, (usually stolen out of the car)cannot help me, because the manual I have is for the twin-distributor version.
Can anyone give me specs for timing? I am looking for the correct points gap and/or the digital Dwell Angle.
I further am interested in setting the advance (Idling) position. I live at 4500' a.s.l.
I also have main fuel-correction jets that have been soldered closed and drilled out! So I'm told by the last person who serviced/tuned said carbs.
I found a wealth of normal specs concerning jets for the 40 DCNF's, but nothing concerning any scientific way of establishing the correct jetting for high altitudes?
Much appreciated.
