Hi!

I`m looking at buying my first "stallion"...

Until to day I thought my first Ferrari would be a 308 GTB (Fibre glas).
The car was sent from Switzerland couple of days ago, but never made it to Norway (where I live). I told the salesman I would like to see the conditions of the car before I made up my mind. To day he called me and said the car was sold in Germany. Too bad!! (The 308 had an Norwegian owner, and he was supose to take it home... He didn`t take it to norway just for me to see it ;-) )

Anyway... This weekend I`m going to have look at a - 84 308 GTB Qv, but now I`m also considering a 348 TB.
I am told to stay away from the 348, because of a lot of trouble with the car and very expensive services.

What`s your experience and advice?

Best Regards

911 turbo is fine. Just watch out for that turbo lag/ZOOM and tail happy spin. On the other hand, you can now steer the rear end during turns with your right foot. Have been on the track with various 911s and they seem like great fun. Enjoy the drive :)

PS: take time to really get the hang of where/when and how the turbo kicks in.
