Yesterday I noticed that the oil pressure gauge was reading a bit lower than normal. Given the cars age and past experiences with Ferrari gauges, I did not think much of it. When it happened again this morning I decided to take a look to see if something was amiss in back. When I unscrewed the lid to check the oil level I noticed that the dip stick was a bit loose and there was a small amount of oil around the lid (it is a dry sump). It appears that the dip stick worked itself a bit loose, and as it is screwed into the top of the cap, pressure and a small amount of oil was escaping through the hole. I tighted both bolts (there is one on the top of the lid and one on the inside which hold it in place) and pressure is now back to normal.
