Buongiorno !,
The electric mirrors on my 85 308 do not work. The previous owner tells me that he never had any trouble with them but did have issues with the electric windows, which he had serviced and tuned up by a local Ferrari mechanic. I just purchased the car, and have found that the mirrors don't function, the windows are back to super slow mode, and the dash and console lights are intermittent and weak. The battery is brand new, and the car has 27,000 miles on it, it has been garaged for its entire US life in Florida 3 yrs, New mexico 4 yrs, and California 10yrs. Can all of this be fuse block related? I do get 12 volts at the mirror switch with a VOM. Any comments on experience would be appreciated before I start pulling door panels and buying expensive mirror switches etc.

CIAO,
LUIGI

Although I've never had a problem with my fuse panel, I have heard it is a common issue as the 308s get on in years. I think the commonly used replacement is just a universal fuse panel from Napa that uses glass AGC fuses.

If the windows were "tuned up" by a Ferrari dealer, they probably put back in the factory "recommended" grease which has now hardened up again over the years. You may end up pulling door panels for those.
