You can't really compare a 550 GT with a regulare 550.
The only thing that is about the same is the carroserie.
Besides it takes about 6-8 months to build one GT.
The biggest test for the GT will be in 2 weeks at the 24hours of Spa.
Let's see if she can finish that.
If she finishes and wins it, then we can start talking about new FERRARI DOMINATION!!! :green:
I can smell in the air another Ferrari-domination streak (knock on wood!). :green:
I'd like to know, with the 575 in production, how long will these 550's be racing? Considering the improvements made to the 575, I'm sure it'd be a winner outta-the-box.
What these teams have done is...They went out and bought stock 550's and rebuilt them. So when there are more 575's on the market, they may start converting them to racing specs. I read this about the 550 in latest issue of Forza. Unlike the 360gt, that comes directly from the factory already race prepped.
