I am no Ferrari expert ( Ihave been to the factory though) This car looked brand new. Yes I walked right up to it. It did not say 430 anywhere on it. I spent about 20 minutes checking it out until my wife dragged me away. I looked everywhere for a name on it. All I could find was Challenge Stradale or something like that on the lower rocker area. I remember the taillights sticking up from the rear of the car like the Enzo. I then looked it up on the Internet and the only thing I could come up with is the 430. Its the only other Ferrari that has those distinctive taillights.

well, then it isn't a 430
but a 360 Challenge Stradale, the last version of the 360
taht's a streetcar based on a race car based on a street car if you can still follow.

besides with newer Ferrari's (only the 355's still had a name badge outside) you should never bother to look on a name tag on the outside.
the only recent car that has one is the 2004 575M, previous versions didn't had it either, and on most 575's it's even removed from the trunk because it looks cleaner

I dont know.... Pretty sure it had the taillights sticking up out of the back. I just looked up the 360 challenge and it wasnt one of those. It didnt have the sliding windows on the side. (My Daytona Coupe has those).
Does any other newer ferrari say Challenge Stradale on the side? What does the 430 say on the side?
Also the car did not have any sheilds on it either. Sure wish I had my camera with me.

The 430 has the large figure 430 stamped on the wing mirrors. You can't miss it.

Besides you saw "Challenge Stradale". It's a CS - for sure.

Regardless of what is was, it was a Ferrari and beautiful enough to keep you glued to it for 20 minutes. :green:

BTW, I like the Corbra's on your website. Welcome to Ferrari Forum, it is nice to have you here. I believe you are the 3rd Daytona owner on the site and I am sure I speak for most when I say I'd happily take the Daytona over any F430.

I stand corrected. A DMV check revealed that the car was in fact a 2004 360 (CH) What is CH?
What a great looking car. Geuss i need a refresher course on my Ferraris
My guess on the CH part is that someone at the DMV incorrectly entered an H instead of an S. CS would be the Challenge Stradale.
