On offer from Mike Sheehan...

We are pleased to offer 1972 USA model 365 GTC/4 Spyder conversion s/n 14963. Enjoy topless V-12 Ferrari motoring and the best exhaust sound of any of the Enzo-era street cars for only $79,500 O.B.O.

This unique 365 GTC/4 Spyder is highly detailed and finished in very nice Rosso Chiaro red. Fitted with a nice black leather interior with elegant dark red carpets. The convertible top looks good up or down, and folds easily out of sight when down. The front wheel wells, the rocker panels, and the rear wheel wells have all been reinforced for a very rigid body. The car makes excellent power with no smoke and has excellent oil pressure. The suspension is soft and compliant, and the brakes stop the car effectively and evenly. Second gear synchro is unusually good, both when warm and cold. This is a wonderfully driving car, and thanks to Factory power steering, all the controls are light to the touch and operate harmoniously. Perhaps no Ferrari of the era achieved such a pleasant balance between performance and luxury, combined with the wonderful Ferrari V-12 exhaust note, as did the 365 GTC/4. The car sits on beautiful Borrani wires with "near-new" tires.

365 GTC/4 spyder conversion s/n 14963 comes with the original briefcase tool set and has a well-documented ownership history going back to the early 1970s.

Some people will love it and some folks will hate it.
IMHO, the C4 body design does make a great looking spider.

In the pictures, the rear hatch seems to be too high toward the front sides of it. Maybe that can be fixed to fit flush with an adjustment of some kind?

Great color combo too.

You can see the high front edge of the back top cover also in this picture from the other side of the car.

stunning! Amazing how well this body style lends itself to being a spyder. Heck if a cut Daytona is acceptable to get the money they get why not a cut C4?

who did this conversion? Mike was this you? Agreed on spicy and in fact, other than resembling the Fiat Dino, the 365 GTC/4 might be the only F-car that looks better as a spider than B. Maybe a trend, i have seen a few done now.
