They are already delivered with a very ugly plate on the backside telling us it's a 575. I can see that for myself. Some of them have a optional chrome grill. Hope to see one soon

The year 2004 brings some minor changes, just like normal productioncars each car has little differences each year. It is still called the 575 M Maranello

I saw a photo of the rear end on another forum. Heck, the 575 is not a Honda, BMW, MB, or any other car which needs to have its name stamped on the outside.

If you do not know what it is, you do not know what it is. Maybe they should paint the word Ferrari on the side like a Porchse.

Chrome grills make the car go faster, does it not? Maybe it helps in cornering.

Ugly like a MB.

Yipes!!!

Just saw that Ferrari of Denver has a 575 on a ship coming over right now. I might be going there again later this month.

Hang on guys - have you all gone mad?

What about the 355 series, or the 348 series, or the TR series etc etc.

They've all got badges on the back saying what they are? Why the issue with this one?

the placing of the badges on for instance the 355 series, is cool.
it's elegantly tucked away
besides the topmodels never had a badgenaming
like the 550, 456, daytona.

granted the 512 series does have it (BB & TR)

Indeed, on other cars they are elegantly toucked away. Here you got this big ass, and they just put a badge on it. On the 575 there is no place to tuck it away, so leave it of then...

It's not as bad as it was first made out to be.

As with the Mercedes and BMWs in Germany, the "model number" badge can be removed on request. So no big deal.
