It is unfortunate I could never get this section off the ground given all the awesome cars in Japan. I'd love to see owners posting photos of their Ferraris in Japan. However, I notice that in general forums are not popular there at all. China is another story. Forums are abundant in that country, Ferraris not so much (for now). Can only, slightly anymore, read the old conji...as it resembles pre-modern Chinese. But like you, loosing it, and well, was a 3rd grade reader even in High School.
That's too bad and surprising too. I know many GT4's were sold there new, some have come and gone, but still many around. Out of all of the years I've been running my GT4 Registry, I have only been contacted by two japanese GT4 owners and it was only because they could write in english (and so they could easily find my site)...It is unfortunate I could never get this section off the ground given all the awesome cars in Japan. When I lived in Japan I actually had the site translated into Japanese. I also had a domain for it, just never seemed to get users. If you Google in Japanese, it usually display the sites in Japanese only. I just tried and a couple of English sites came up but they were only YouTube and flickr. I haven't seen any Japanese owners in English forums. It's to do with the language, I guess.
Japanese language is structured in a totally different way. Surprisingly, I've heard that Turkish is very similar in terms of structure.
EDIT: I just re-checked and found this site came up 6th on the list in Japanese.
Andrew, the island mentality still prevails. Besides, the economy is deep in a trench along with the crumbling social fabrics. JimmyWhen I lived in Japan I actually had the site translated into Japanese. I also had a domain for it, just never seemed to get users.
