beautiful busy day at Katies

It seems a whole bunch of folks came out of their garages and drove to Katies. Always fun to attend.

Great pictures, as always, Ken. Here are some of my snapshots.
Lots of Ferraris there today.

Attendance at Katie's is never zero. I've been there, and met friends there, even when it's snowing. No snow today, but it did rain all morning.

The rain kept away the majority of the exotic cars, but Katie's remains a big social gathering, even without as many interesting vehicles.

A very cool morning - in more ways than one. It was 53F when I drove to Katie's this morning in the Seven. Jacket and gloves needed!

Quite a turnout of Ferraris there today. I know I missed getting pictures of several... (The white F12 seemed to be everywhere today!)

Who among us knows what the last two cars are?

Bob,
That last car is beautiful, do you have any other photos of it??

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Sure! It's an AC Greyhound (yes, that AC - as in, AC Bristol and AC Cobra).

I found the tailgate to be very interesting - especially details like the 'window' built into the bottom edge of the tailgate, with a wooden frame around the glass. The only function of the glass - the British number plate was mounted inside!

Very interesting indeed.
Thanks for the extra photos

Now we know where the Bugeye Sprite got its grill....

I did NOT do a good job of getting around to see all the cars today. It stayed dark very late (and we have one more Saturday before Daylight Savings Time kicks in), and I was asked to give a couple of people a ride in my car. There was a good showing of Ferraris, though...

The local Model A club brought out several old Fords.

The last Saturday at Katie's before Daylight Savings ends this year. It's REALLY DARK until almost 8:00AM, this time of year. Surprisingly few Ferraris in attendance on a cool, bright morning. A good variety of other vehicles there, though...

I guess it's supposed to be cold in mid-November in Northern Virginia, but this morning, the clear skies and lack of wind could only make the 24F temperature tolerable, at best. While there were fewer people and cars than usual, you couldn't call the gathering ordinary. I saw only two Ferraris there today...

While this first Saturday in December was chilly, it was well worth getting up so early. On the way to Katie's I saw the amazing near-full moon, and I pulled over and took a crappy picture of it. We did have a few Ferraris there today.
