A beautiful morning - in the mid-fifties before 6:00AM. As you'd expect, a very big turnout at Katie's this Easter weekend. Here are some interesting vehicles we had not seen before.

The roads were wet, and it was gently sprinkling when I arrived at Katie's at 5:30AM. While that generally means low turnout, and much fewer exotics, like no Ferraris, there are still interesting vehicles & people there.

I try to never miss Katie's. This morning, it was in the 60's at 5:30AM. Spring is here!

Here are some vehicles we had not seen before - the Chevy Woody was very nice. UMBC brought two Baja Buggies, this one with the sidewall-less tires. Mike, here with the Ducati he just bought back after about 20 years, plans to take this bike to El Mirage Lake this summer, to seek a class world speed record with it - good luck!

The first Saturday of May - very clear and pleasant when I arrived, but it clouded up. Raid was predicted, but for later today. That was enough to keep lots of people away; we didn't have more than the front lot, barely full. Still, some good stuff! Only a single Ferrari, though - Bobert's 550.

What a Spring we are having here in the DC area - it was raining, and 49 degrees when I arrived at 5:30AM - it was still 49 degrees (though rain had stopped) when I went home at 7:30AM. I met a couple of friends for breakfast, and we left when it became apparent that most people stayed away. Still, there were some interesting vehicles... though not a Ferrari to be seen.

A terrific turnout on this holiday weekend. A very good turnout (and variety) of Ferraris today.

Some fabulous vehicles at Katie's today. This small sampling just scratches the surface. New & old, large & small.
(Note that the giant truck in front of the 348 has both a Ferrari sticker, and a Mille Miglia sticker.)

The many Ferraris there today, plus a very interesting newcomer! (I'm sure this group will know what this last car is...)

Another beautiful morning, another terrific turnout at Katie's. It still astounds me that we regularly have vehicles none of us have seen before! (That gold Alvis certainly qualifies!)

It rained early this morning, but cleared up by 5:30AM. That always causes people to arrive later than usual to cars & coffee. I arrived at my usual time, and was the first one there, by almost 10 minutes. The only Ferrari I saw there today pulled in, just as I was leaving...

A great turnout today. Strangely, this is the first time we have had people park down the both sides of the entrance road from Georgetown Pike, across from the fire station. It only left a single, narrow lane to get in or out.

I was away at the beach the last two weeks, so it was good to get back. Today was an excellent example of what is so interesting about Katie's Cars & Coffee - terrific cars & people! Several Ferraris there today, too. (And a Pantera, for good measure...)

Torrential rain pretty much all day Friday meant there were flooded-out roads around the area Saturday morning. We had some people show up at Katie's, anyway. We were fortunate that it didn't rain at all from 5:30AM to about 7:30AM. Attendance was light, but we still saw some interesting vehicles, including a '56 Chevy wagon we'd never seen before! No Ferraris this morning, though...

A real circus at Katie's today. A fair number of Ferraris there today, and I know I missed getting pictures of several of them...

What a difference a week - and weather - makes! While we had a fabulous turnout last week, along with excellent weather, it rained last night, and it was overcast this morning. That meant fewer people at Katie's - but it was still good. Two Ferraris there today - both were black 430's.

Quite a day at Katies... good weather meant we had a lot of cars - including Ferraris. On the way home, I found myself following Dino in his Diablo. I'm fairly sure he was not worried I was going to pass him!

I was at Katie's today and it was great. The Diablo looked amazing. How many other Diablos are there in this area?

I'd bet there's at least a half-dozen.
