Radcliffe Motors open house

We had perfect weather for the Radcliffe Motor Car open house. Great to see all the cars and more importantly, folks behind the wheels. For those that attended, there are no trophies for anything. But a number of good vendors, some good food and lots of great cars. Richard and Patty and Tommy Yang do such a great job putting this show one. We had quite a number of classic front engined V12 Ferraris plus a nice batch of Panteras, quite a number of Alfas a smattering of Lancias and some other stuff (like the 66 lincoln I drove up)

regards

ken

Ken, thank you and appreciate you posting those photos here for us who missed the opportunity. All splendid motors and one can tell the passions of the owners.

Kudos to Tom and the crew for sponsoring the event. Looks like the weather cooperated too.

Tom, Richard and his team put on a top notch show yet again. Thanks to the entire team up there. I brought a friend in who is here from Boston and he had a really good time. He really liked SuperAmerica there as well....:-)

Bill, great to see you again too. PM me your phone number so we can go out for a drive with our cars soon.

+1, this was another great show put on by Richard & Patty Garre along with Tom Yang. There was a great selection of Ferrari's present. My son and I had a wonderful time on Saturday. We couldn't ask for anything more!

Ken, great photos as usual. I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to talk much. Hopefully, we'll catch up at another event. Matt, it was good seeing you and meeting up with your friend. I PM'ed you my contact info.

Looks like another fantastic Italian gathering by Richard, Patty and Tom. It's not every day you see two Alfa Sprint Speciales together! Everyone post your pics!

Hey Bryan,

What was the difference between the two especial's? The front ends were rather different.

How is your Speciale doing? How is the Admiral doing? Please give him my regards.

Hey Ken, they are both Giulietta SS's. The only difference is that the gray one opted to leave off the bumper (three pieces) and install driving lights (probably attaching where the bumper mount steel tubes used to be). Patty's white car is how it looked when it left the Factory.

My garage on the mountain is now complete, and I have been moving all the Alfa stuff up out of dad's garage. The only things left to strip off the tub are the glass, dash and main wiring harness; then it will go to "the guy" who does the best work in northern NM for body/paint, but that will be a long process. In the meantime, we will rebuild the motor/tran/diff and I have hundreds of parts to sandblast/powdercoat.

We're all good here, but do miss the great events and crew back in the Mid-Atlantic.

Hey Terry - quite by accident I met Marty Gonzalez - he does Tai Chi where my son does Tae Kwon Do. He is in Espanola and does the body paint for some of the high end guys in SF. He is currently painting the 60s Porsche of the guy who owns the SF Classic Car storage facility where we kept the Mondial last year. I'll visit his shop int the next month or two and let you know. It sounds like he does a lot of muscle and low rider work, but euro as well.

Bryan- We call that area the Espanola Triangle. Just about every time we go through that town on the way to southern Colorado somebody nearly hits us and did hit us once.

Next time I see you, I'll let you in on some of my late grandfather's highly politically incorrect jokes about Espanola . . .

Another terrific show put on by Richard, Tom and the gang.

A great venue, great turnout and perfect weather again. The backroads in the area are also spectacular.

Do we really have to wait a year for the next one?

My 308 is still in his shop so I may have to come up just so you guys don't steal my car.
