DC area Salt Report 2015

They pretreated 270 and 370 this afternoon. I'm guessing they did the beltway too?

I did take the 328 out for a 20 minute drive this afternoon since I was rearanging the garage so I could access my plow if needed.

They salted the sidewalks in Arlington yesterday afternoon.
This morning, there is 1/2 inch of snow in NW DC.
I suspect there will be salt on all the major roads.

So happy I live in the somewhat Warm Georgia. Rarely any salt. But when they salt the roads here, Its a metric shit ton of salt. Hope the snow does not last too long for you guys up there.

Ed's measuring stick has always been off. Just ask his wife if you don't believe me. He only got 1/2" but in his mind, it's 4".

While you CHIMPS were arguing about Wetpet's dimensions and worried about a few grains of salt, about 50 guys out in SOCAL braved scattered clouds and the sub-70 degree weather to do a rally. Unfortunately, only two Italians showed up.

For the last picture, there was actually a line of people waiting to snap a photo of the bumper sticker!

Love the drip pads under the cars to catch the oil. Almost as funny as the sticker. The good news is that as the Prius cars are failing and are too expensive to fix, when they go to the dump they are taking the vast majority of Obama stickers with them.
