Anone know anything about a yellow 355 spider that was for sale recently on CraigsList in the DC area for $39K? Not sure the exact area but somewhere in or close to Montgomery County?

Do you know that to be a fact? I'd guess the same or maybe a salvage title or simialr? I figure someone in our circle must know something about the car?

Kevin,
I don't think the price is extremely too low. It likely needs a major at that price, which I'm pretty sure knowing you can be done in your garage.
The issue is, the market is flooded with 355 spiders. For some reason, they trade for 10-20k less than the fixed roof cars even though they made fewer. Also, yellow seems to be a tough sell.
A nice looking red/tan F1 spider needing a service just sold today on eBay for about 46k.
