Area FLED - any interest?

Capo suggested we organize a Ferrari Life Epic Drive (FLED).

Is there any interest? Perhaps in late April/May when the weather is much nicer?

I'd like to organize a drive from my community main beach pavillion around 10am, then drive through the backroads backroads of southern AACo (mostly farm roads), and eventually end up at Thursdays Restaurant on the West River in Galesville for lunch ~1pm. The restaurant has an outdoor bar and deck for dining. The location is bucolic; and, the food is inexpensive and good.

Let me know if you are interested.

It was your suggestion to do a FLED in America so you take the credit. I just humbly explained the concept which was invented by Boxer who has done several great ones. An American FLED would for sure be a venture with endless nice possibilities!

I like the concept!! As soon as I fix all the shoddy workmanship done on my car I'd be one for joining in.

Current: 85' GTS QV
It's a simple process...... it's just complicated by human beings....

Agreed! Its been done by others, but a tail of the dragon type of excursion is what I think of when I see EPIC in the title. Hell even a drive out Skyline to Blue Ridge could make for some memorable driving.

Can't wait to read about your adventures on the other side of the pond!

But, indeed, take heed of the word "epic".

You could do a mini-FLED to get things rolling, though. Baby steps?

Likewise, be very interested to see how a US FLED pans out.

I'm sure a FLED Stateside will be on the cards for us Euro F Lifers some day!

We will need to discuss licensing fees.

A two day event may be a good option for those who want to continue. Keep shooting me ideas. I like the thought of combining a water locale and mountains perhaps. We need to avoid major holidays of course.

Perhaps meet-up Friday night, depart 9am Saturday, return Sunday. Keep it modestly priced, pay as you go. Maybe give Ed the option to camp out and sleep under the stars. Then again, he'd probably want to share a sleeping bag with someone. Bad idea.

If I can finally get to meet Ed I'm seriously considering signing up, if there is a shot gun ride available of course. And I'm NOT sharing sleeping bag with you Ed! I'll settle with chatting up the girls in your avatar photo. I count on those girls are your every day entourage...?
