2013 Baltimore Grand Prix - Exotic Car Corral - Hosted by NCC BMWCCA

Guys,

Paul Seto who is the president of the National Capital Chapter of the BMWCCA has graciously extended an invitation to have us share in their car corral space during the 2013 Baltimore Grand Prix. They are going to reserve a "corral within a corral" for invited exotics.

Registration is now open at motorsporreg.com. Here is the link:
BMW CCA - National Capital Chapter - Social & Spectator announces 2013 Grand Prix of Baltimore Car Corral - Exotics Friday, Aug 30 — Sunday, Sep 1, 2013 info at Baltimore Grand Prix, Baltimore, MD 21201 (9275) - MotorsportReg.com

Read through the info carefully. Especially the part about Porsche and Corvettes not being eligible because of their own prearranged corral accommodations.

I plan to park in the BMW corral again this year, but only on Friday.
I'll watch the races on DVR recording this year.

Anyone else going on Friday?

I'm in for Saturday at the corral. But I'll be there Friday as well (taking train in).

awesome!

Awesome day at the track yesterday, enhanced by checking out the car coral. Lash does it right, nice setup nice folks, nice cars. I'm assuming much more crowded today and tomorrow.

Had a great time with the photo credentials.

The Ferraris sound incredible going around the track. The Vettes pound your heart. One spot, coming around pit row, there is a spot where the car power into the turn and come within a foot of the photo window.

regards

ken

I didn't see your car at the coral when I got there in the afternoon. What a great setup at the coral. And the Grand Prix itself was exceptionally cool. First time I've had the opportunity to shoot something like that. I really enjoyed it.

Saw Mr Tire in his Batmobile tent, pretty neat as well.

Ken, glad you enjoyed our area...the Bloomery guys really put on a nice display with their wooden bar.

BMW CCA outdid themselves with their excellent hospitality tent and corral layout. We were happy to be invited and we're definitely looking forward to next year.

It was good to see some forum members there but we need more fans and cars in the corral. This is our second chance at having a pro motorsports event in the Balt-DC area...need to make sure it stays!

thanks!

Thanks for the compliments, fellas. As most of you know, its a passionate obsession.
For me it was a new learning experience, shooting cars that are really, really moving fast. I wish I had more time for experimentation, but, that will be for next time.

Meanwhile, here is my Velocity blog on the ALMS race.

The Grand Prix of Baltimore storms thru Charm City - Velocity

like it if you like it. thanks
