How about starting a Cavallino thread and posting pictures and video links?

I understand that Mr. Marriott's 500TRC (0698MDTR), restored by David Carte, won Best of Show, Competition.

Do not go to the dc car show!

DO NOT GO TO TO 2013 AUTO SHOW

WOFTAM (Waster of F'ing Time and Money)

Had free VIP tickets to show, cocktail reception and dinner from my broker.

Walked the show floor, highlight of the show was the Mustang Club Coral (yipee).
Kept looking for Barchetta'S 'stang (no show). OMG, look at that 2012 Mustang!

No exotics or prototypes, just normal run-of-the-mill dealer road cars, nothing spectacular that you wouldn't see at Annapolis City Dock Cars and Coffee or Katies. If anything, Katies should charge for their weekly event!

Did see Sen Steny Hoyer and his entourage - armed security in trail. Guess he finished the budget work on Capital Hill. Yeah, right.

POTUS was a no-show (thank GOD).

Cocktail reception, open bar and heavy h'ours d'oeuvres was the highlight of the night. The shrimp were huge (why do they call them "shrimp" anyway?).

Easy to get quite full before the meal.

Met Mr Green Party (Ralph Nader) who hasn't changed a bit. Quite a nice fellow. He was happy to see all the hybrids. I wondered why he wasn't hangin' with Al Gore.

Didn't stay for the dinner, too bored and tired of being surrounded by politicos surrounded by lobbyists (sorry to the lobbyists on F-Life, I know - "it's a job")

IF someone offers you a FREE ticket, run away.

I WOULD NOT GO AGAIN IF SOMEONE PAID ME.

Seriously, worst event of 2013 thus far.
