Funny enough I was about to start a new thread so might as well post my question here, if you don't mind 360Modena?

What do you all think about car wrapping? I've seen some amazing result on older and newer cars, and have been playing with the idea of doing my 550 in matte black since my better half said I should consider that.
Only problem that the 550 has (and other models too for that matter) is that the inside of the headlights can't be done unless you take the whole unit apart which is risky and very hard to do.
I know it all comes down to personal taste, but.....
Opinions?

Yes Yes Yes - there is a product called Satin Guard.

I loved my matte black G55.

About two years ago I was very interested in a CGT that was fully wrapped and sold for 50k below market due to no one knew what was beneath.

Sure enough - the wrap came off and it was perfect when the other guy bought the car.

I saw a Ferrari in black matte while I was in FL

While I wouldn't do a black matte to my TR or 360, I have to admit that with the right car and wheels, it looks spectacular

The car I saw with the black matte was an F430 but I did not capture any pics (sorry)

I'm digging the chrome. Very Mclaren/Mercedes.

Current: 85' GTS QV

Celeste and I saw a chrome-wrapped Caddilac in DC this past wekend. We both just burst out laughing. If it had been a Ferrari, we'd have sighed or just shaken our heads.

If I see another one, I'll look to see if Al is inside....

More likely to be me inside Jim's chrome wrapped car

Jim, go for it!

Hell, you probably could get it done for free as a promo because you'd be the first in our region. Then you could hang out with the Mischief crowd and fit right in.

oh boy! I do think a 308/328 wrapped in rich chromey goodness would look pretty cool. Surprised you didn't see one in FL.

For the record.... I think it works superbly on a 458. not so much on a Superamerica.

Dave, that Caddy you saw didn't have some weird homage to Obama plastered on the passenger side did it?
