Car Club Drive in VA Leads to Charges?

Anyone know anything about this?

Would be good to know what actually happened so we can better plan our future drives.

This is why we don't do drives in VA.

Current: 85' GTS QV
It's a simple process...... it's just complicated by human beings....

Sports cars take reckless Sunday drive | The News Leader | newsleader.com
Not much info on this.... same news copy on most of the websites I checked. Apparently they were speeding, cutting off other motorists and crossing the double yellow which equals reckless driving. Guess they can still tow your car in Va for speeding. Stupid place down that way to be driving like that.... Cop/trooper rich environment.

Pretty sure anything 20mph over the limit is reckless driving/you must appear in court in VA. Over 94mph is pretty much automatic and instant jail time.

It would have been no different in a "General Lee" spouting NASCAR flags on it: Simple case of breaking the law and greatly from what I read.

This group has been banned from Skyline Drive etc etc. They have a history for exceeding what we would consider to be a fun drive and intentionally turn themselves itno a spectacle.

I think if we avoid trying to create a spectacle, we should be OK.
