Rockville Car Show - Oct 20

http://www.rockvillemd.gov/events/20...gistration.pdf

Anyone headed to this?

I just noticed the pre-reg ends tomorrow with onsite registration also available the day of the event.

This show is amazing every year...incredible variety of vintage iron of all types.

Last year's Italian display was ridiculous.

Dear Lash,

Not sure how to read ridiculous but I sure did like the program cover...

Sorry but do not plan on it this year.

Best regards,

I'll be there!

Good to see you yesterday Barry. The 355 sounded magical as you left. We were all just sitting there like kids with mouths open. LOL!

Looks like rain in the forecast this Friday.

Last time I went after a rain the entire field was wet and muddy.

I'm out.

Latest weather says 40% chance rain THURSDAY. No rain , 60's, FRIDAY and SATURDAY. That sounds like it should be a dry parking lot.

I could be talked into this. Who else is bringing their car on the field? I only live a couple miles away. If anyone wants to put a car on the lift before or after let me know.

I put the red car on the lift and started shinning it up. Looking to be a nice day. If anyone wants to put theirs on the lift I should be done with mine by mid day? I called a friend of mine that is one of the organizers and he said just show up before 11AM with $20 and a Ferrari or a car over 25 years old and you're in.

We got a ton of rain here last night in Rockville but the Sun is out and its been fairly dry lately. I went outside and the ground is pretty firm already. I suspect by tomorrow it will be even better. The ground doesn't seem to be anywhere near satruated yet so its taking up the water pretty fast at my house. Maybe I'll take a ride up there tonight and see how the field is?

Yeh but only a couple inches! Makes me think I spent too much time detailing the car. Now they are saying bright and sunny for tomorrow at least. I'll go out in the morning and decide. Funny thing is if I hadn't spent all that time cleaning it I'd be less worried about driving it on wet roads etc. I hadn't really done a good cleaning job on it since I got caught in the rain last month.
