Hopefully he just left because he had a better opportunity and not because of something else. Anyone know?

WCH's last paragraph is hysterical; and spot on. Let's see who the next guy is . . . .

I heard at Ferraris on the Vine that Redding is doing great - he was recently in the UK, met the Earl of March (owns Goodwood) who found Redding so charming that he had Redding and his fellow travellers as his personal guests at the castle for dinner. But you wouldn't want THAT guy as your dealership's PR/events person . . . .

I have a feeling that thread is going to get really interesting. What's the over/under on FOW?

redding told me they sent junior back to the west coast and he (redding) is considering something out there as well. Of course, you never know who could end up with that franchise. can't be long for the current owners.

I tried to get an appointment for my cars but was told they could not squeeze me in until Fall. Now THAT'S Funny. LOL

Seriously, I keep hoping they will survive. Tough time to be in the car biz unless you own a Ford dealership.

Called Competizeone a week or so ago and talked to Richard about doing the work on my Ferrari and Maserati. Shipping the Ferrari to them next week. I'm done with FoW. I hear Hyundai is looking to open a dealership there as soon as they go under.

actually it would kind of suck if they went under.... They certainly haven't helped their cause by displaying a lack of competence and by firing everyone that had any ties at all to the enthusiast base in this area.... That's a mentality and legacy that they didn't need from Mark Zetlin... I'll say it again... they are ASC.... west... is it irony that the same type of people that drove Ali and company to buy the franchise in the first place are the ones that are going to run it into the ground in the end?

Competizione hired Scott Lankford when they closed Maserati of Baltimore. he is a Maserati/Ferrari specialist. Sounds like they just keep getting better!

current Ferraris: 1995 F355 Spider, 2000 360F1 Modena

Stand up and be counted, or lay down and be mounted.

Excellent move/news for Scott/owners! His talent as a technician, fabricator, and racer puts Competizione even further ahead.
