Black Maserati Coupe back from the dead.

Hello all, I wanted to post some pictures of a clients Coupe with his permission, and share the condition of his car. Luckily the damage wasn't beyond repair. Every defect imaginable represented itself on this poor Italian paint.

Buffer trails are very visible throughout the entire paintwork most definitely left behind by a less than admirable detailer. Riddled in swirl marks and random deep scratches made the paint almost look sanded. Here's it's story and transformation.

Here's a good example of why not to buy a black car at night or on a cloudy day. Looks fairly decent in the shade, hiding all the micromarring and damage which is exposed by the sun and other bright light sources.

Some before and after photos of the damage under halogen and led light.

That is not in Richmond, Virginia, but Florida. Why post it here? What is your angle?

Thanks, love the area. I was only in Tampa for two years and lived in Virginia for five years prior. So far, Dc has kept me busier than Richmond however.

I actually saw this car in a parking lot, and saw how hammered it was so I left him a card on the window that said I can remove all that damage from your paint.

I don't usually leave cards on cars, I just couldn't help but save that poor car.

Thanks for the compliments.

Curious, how did you know I took those pictures in Florida? There are no plates on any car visible. No palm trees, beaches, Gators hats, nothin.

Did you calculate the suns angle on the parking lot to determine longitude latitude or something?

Ahhh, I guess my detective work isn't what it used to be. I apologize for suggesting a member calculated the trajectory of the sun to pinpoint my location.
