Thanks for any tips. I suck at photography and gave up until recently. I'm getting a little better because I used to get about 25 pictures of my left index finger. Now I get a few short videos of me cursing because I thought I was taking a picture.

Nice to see Mr. Trebelhorn's Lusso. I'm glad he's not overdoing it w/ the restoration. I think he bought it in 1974.

That thing was well.. Horrible!!!

As for the Lusso, I am glad he is "taking his time." What a treat to see a car in unrestored condition.

Last year at the Garre show, he had the Lusso there. It attracted alot of attention then. Everyone thought it was a "Barn Find". Amazing that he has had it more than 30 years! Last year, the driver's door had a serious dent and barely opened. Glad he had that repaired. Patina is nice, but Functional is a necessity. He said it is an Audi color he likes, not Ferrari Barchetta Red.

Stand up and be counted, or lay down and be mounted.

Yes, same spot as the ice rink in Reston Town Center.
For some reason, they won't let us park our Ferraris there in the winter.

Hey Guys,

Rich purchased his Lusso in Aug. of 1975 from Ed Waterman at Thorobred Motorcars. He's owned that car for the past 35 years. He is NOT restoring the car. He likes the fact that the car is original in both modifications and the car itself. He did recently get the driver's side door fixed and subsequently got it painted.

Rich has always liked Audi Amulet Red which he saw on a TT a few years ago and he's always wanted to repaint the Lusso in that color. He's not into doing a 100 point full restoration on the car. I think the car looks great and I'm glad I was able to coax him into bringing the car out before it's return to the Radcliffe Open House!

As for the 1958 Ferrari 250 Testarossa Replica...the owner of that car owns a 1978 Ferrari 308 GT4. He too is on a limited budget, but has always loved the Styling of Ferrari's Coachbuilders. So he purchased several replicas that celebrate Scagletti & Pinnafarina. (His Dino obviously representing Bertone). I actually came in that car. The owner graciously invited me out for the day to test drive his GT4 and then ride over to the Spring Thaw in his replica TR. I had a BLAST!!

Just a little background info on the two cars.

Bill
