maybe we can have DL and stuff to meet us up there and give us a tour. Never mind, he doesn't do any events. Something about being under cover.

I'm pretty sure that is the one Grand Touring restored and modified. Its probably the finest example on the planet. They re-engineered the car, pulling the motor back 4 inches or so to change the center of gravity.

Very nice car...

You're the person in the pic wearing the blue shirt & shorts, right?

Yes, taking a pic of the interior.

You may also recognize Wetpet on the other side of the car in the light blue dress.

He went through a Farrah Fawcett phase with hair styles.

This photo made the rounds a few years ago. A vw forum got a hold of it and went off. You can find the thread referenced Here: http://www.enzodude.com/

For some reason, Ed said it looks like you but with muscles.

I was listening to Adam Carolla's Car Talk podcast today, he interviewed several drivers for Carroll Shelby. They talked about the 5 Daytonas sitting outside behind Shelby's shop at the LAX Airport. Shelby was known for exhaggerating value and was trying to sell them to these drivers for $5,000 to $5,500 each (which was way overpriced). Of course they are considered $8 Million cars today.
