The Intermeccanica Italia looks interesting. Is that the one Chuck Wray was restoring a few years back? Anymore pics of it?
I'm pretty sure that is the one Grand Touring restored and modified. Its probably the finest example on the planet. They re-engineered the car, pulling the motor back 4 inches or so to change the center of gravity.
I was listening to Adam Carolla's Car Talk podcast today, he interviewed several drivers for Carroll Shelby. They talked about the 5 Daytonas sitting outside behind Shelby's shop at the LAX Airport. Shelby was known for exhaggerating value and was trying to sell them to these drivers for $5,000 to $5,500 each (which was way overpriced). Of course they are considered $8 Million cars today.
