The show is pretty good this year considering the state of the industry. 2007 was ridiculous here in DC with a lot of emphasis on performance.
Naturally, that is changed to more of an energy focus. Also, profitable and sensible cars are showcased due to the Big Three bailout loans.
Having said that, there are some pretty interesting cars there. The new MB SLS, Corvette ZR1, and the entire Ford display looked very good. The Ford setup showed a *lot* of engineering cutaway models and interactive displays...very interesting for the mechanically interested.
There are a few Aston Martin, Bentley and RR models.
A nice pearl white LP560, black 599GTB, red Ford GT, and others.
All in all, if you're a gearhead, you'll like it.
If you read Maxim magazine and/or don't know what an AC Cobra is, you may tear your pantyhose trying to find something interesting there.
