only if your name is sanford. Or maybe if someone gave you a drive train, interior and a free paint job. But then you would still have a four headlight car, so no.

gotta love the hornet's nests in the interior.

I'm probably one of the few that think the 4 headlight cars are just as nice looking as the single headlight 330s. Could be because we didn't buy one when they were stupid cheap back in the early 80s. I keep hoping that if Peter Daniels every decides to get rid of his 64 2+2, I'll get a call.

As far as this particular car.... ugh.... what a shame

Current: 85' GTS QV

Hornets were a special option package back in the day! I couldn't imagine the cost to do a car like this right.
I like the explanation where they go on to say the interior just needing some new seat foam and leather.

A few cars down, The TVR for $4500.00 looked fun. I always liked the look of the earlier TVRs

Actually it sort of looks like most of it is all there.... SO.... if that is the case. What 10-15k for an interior redo... 15-20K for paint and chrome.... 25-35K for an engine..... is it possible to redo this car for less than 100K?

Only if your name is LD or gregg. Even still, 130k in this car would be a big mistake.

Thought I had recognized that picture, I took it after the donut one day. That's Joe's car. It was in very nice condition and had good engine work done to it from that Lambo specialist in Ohio.

Surely you're joking, Mr Feynman?!

A horse is a horse, of course, of course, and no one can talk to a horse of course. That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister F.

"I was told that nearly $25000 was invested in this car!"

How can you go wrong with that!! This thing is a very rare example of the feirorrari.

Actually, that may be my old car.

I had bought it from a guy in Los Gatos, CA who built it, drove it until he bought a real Ferrari Mondial. I bought is sight inseen and shipped it east for ~$500.

I drove the snot out of it, including in the snow. It was my snow plow.

I always told people it was a kit car. I got into an argument w/a guy at my house that did not believe me (6 cylinders, automatic tranny).

He finally believed me when I had him count the spark plug wires.

Loads of fun for a daily beater car that only cost me $15 grand and burned regular grade fuel.

Offer the guy five grand and give it your teenage son or daughter.

not exactly in our region, but dammit, it SHOULD be.

1967 Maserati 4200 Hearse. Perfect for your next car gathering, road trip or Mafia funeral.
