Fca-mar

I noticed the FCA of Las Vegas and other FCA clubs do some really cool stuff. Like informal get togethers, calendar shoots, photo shoots, etc. Why is our club so boring? I mean we can't even get Paypal.... How can we change this? Let's do some fun "younger" stuff.... The same old stuff, Winery events, etc--SNOOZE!!!

We have a group in the UK that organizes these sort of things informally and via FLife. PM me if you are interested in the details.

In regards to our region. Change is slow.... and some fear change. I've heard it several times from some of the more vocal members. Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to think it's our club in actuality it isn't. A few control the direction without any real sense of being progressive and that starts at the top. The current mentality seems to be one of complacency and stubborness. Redesigning a website and adding a few events is not progressive in my mind. Too bad too because alot of those people I consider friends are very progressive individually.

I do agree though that drinking wine then driving a high profile exotic car is probably not the best of combos.

Toggie may be able to talk some sense where I could not. Perhaps he can get it done without having to take a another useless poll of the membership.

Hindsight is 20/20. I probably should have thrown my name in when I had the chance.

How about a go-kart outing say Dec 12 (Saturday) followed by a late lunch w/adult beverages?

Drive, then drink?

Pay as you go.
