I stopped by the new shop today -- figured why not, since I did receive their new address card...
Fernando was there, and it looked like there was some work going on with the HVAC. Most of the big equipment was in, but lots of small stuff yet to go. Fernando said maybe in a week they'd be ready to start moving cars over. The new location will be a great shop once it's up and running -- about twice the shop space compared to the old location.
Richard was over at the old shop, so I also stopped by there to wish him a happy holidays. Still quite a few cars there in various states of service. (Obviously not being worked on right now.)
Fernando was surprised that I was driving the 348 (in this weather?!?!), and he even wanted to go out and take a look at it. (It's not like he hasn't seen about a zillion 348's before.) I'm amazed that both Richard and Fernando always greet me by name, ask about my spouse (by name) and remember details about my car, even though I don't see them that often. Just part of the superior Competizione customer experience, I guess.
