Bunch of nice cars at Alfa of Tacoma right now....

Mrs. Jedi and I left the office early today just to decompress, and
ended up downtown Tacoma on a walk. Ended up visiting Carlo at
AofT - in case anyone is interested (of course, that KNOWS Carlo
and won't feel funny just walking in.... ) he's got some cool
cars in for service right now.... a 456 (6-speed!), nice red 360,
a blue Dino, 2 Testarossas, and a silver '67 330 that I've not
seen before. Didn't take pictures of course, cuz they're not my cars.

It was nice to see Carlo again - his foot seems completely healed.

Crap... forgot to take a couple bottles of wine for Christmas. Gotta
do that tomorrow...

When you say the 330 was something you've not seen, meaning that particular car in that area? Was there something that made it different from other 330s? Was it a Speciale with the rear window:

No, nothing like that. We don't see a lot of 330s here in Tacoma, WA,
ya know? That's all.... first one I've ever seen. That's all. Just thought
there might be other locals who've also never seen a '67 330 in person.

Jedi,

Ah, no worries. I love the beer up that way. My brother lived in Portland for a time and we'd stop by between there and Seattle.

The above is 1 of 4 and different with the window, so I thought you might have seen one of those. I was lucky enough to see one (not the one above) at a shop here in Berkeley and another at The Quail, weekend of Pebble. The owner was friendly had the car was pristine from 1 owner never restored.

Do you know Wayne with the blue Panoz? I believe he is in the area and sometimes will post here.

No I don't. I really only know the "gang" at T.O.P from the PNW - we do a
lot of C&C activities when the sun shines. About 12 of us in all. But not
a Wayne or Panoz among them. I don't want to list usernames.... I really don't know
if that's cool to either site. Still tiptoeing here, and I have a pretty good
thing "over there" that I don't want to f-up. At least not in my FIRST DAY!

I was way off. He is in Salem, OR .... saying hello to NW region here:

No worries on being discreet with the others. I've spoken to AckMann several times and know he is always looking for meet ups in the area. My geography for the area just wasn't what it should have been.

Doesn't Road & Track editor, Peter Brock, live very close to you?
