Yankees 2014 Season

I don't understand why CC Sabathia was our opening day starter!?!? He NOT a #1 any more! He's going the way of Roy Halladay....too many innings on that arm. Thoughts??

Yes sir and I wouldn't worry too much about CC. The man is a solid workhorse.

I don't typically watch the pinstripes this early in the season but find myself already tracking Ellsbury daily. 0-3 against Houston is painful ...um enjoyable.

A long season ahead.

Your Mariners have some very good young talent that nobody knows. I don't expect them to win the West, but I wouldn't be surprised if they made some noise this year. I think for them it's a matter of finding more consistent pitching than just Felix.
And as for Ellsbury, I agree Blu, was very excited when they signed him, hope he doesn't fall flat this year, but his injury bug is always going to be a concern.
Great to have baseball back though!

I'm more worried about Cano than Ellsbery this year. I always get nervous when we spend money on big name players.
