Stone Harbor, NJ visit in Sep, few questions

I'm planning a one-week visit to Stone Harbor in September

Any suggestions what to see, where to eat, things to do?

I figure I'll lay on the beach for a bit, do a lot of reading, and look for places to drown bait, but I am wondering if anyone has visited SH and has ideas or suggestions for other activities.

This is my first time to the Jersey shore.

I'm not going to claim to be a expert on the shore, but it there are quite a few things to do in the area......obviously AC is not far away, and if you like to hit up the casinos or take in a show, or want to eat at so nice restaurants that's always a nice option. My wife and I enjoy several of the restaurants there. The Wildwoods are close too, so lots of the classic boardwalk type things there for the family (salt water taffy shops, boardwalk games, shops etc).
If you're into golf, there are some pretty well kept courses in the area as well, I've never played at any of these, but word of mouth tells me there are some good ones, so I can check into some recommendations if you wish.

Hope this helps a bit & enjoy,

JASON

Thanks Jason.

Been sailing all my life, so I never took up golf. Golf seems to me to be an enormous waste of time hitting a ball into a cup, only to retrieve it and do it again for 17 more holes. I mean, what's the point? LOL

There's a casino nearby where I live, I'm not much of a gambler. I already play the stock market.

Looks like I'll just relax with a good book and a fishing rod that week,

Thanks again buddy.
