New Member needs help on a 348TS

Hi my name is Jim,and I am a new member that can use your help.I just purchased a 1990 348TS,and the gentlman who owned it before me put 75X90NS in the gear box,and the manual calls for 75W90.Will the "NS" gear oil difference do any damage to my gear box? He has had it in for 350miles,or should it be changed immediately?thanks in advance for any help.

The NS is an additive to the oil which in no way effects the lubrication performance. The oil is just fine and in fact recommended if moisture was ever seen in the oil. Please note that many 348 owners have changed out gearbox oil to superlights and shockproof additives which can dramatically improve gearbox function. Please check out My Ferrari 348 for lots of cool reading about these cars.

Where are you in the Northeast? we have a great gathering in Glastonbury CT if you are close enough.
