Thats cool only an hour or so away, Do you get up to Road America Alot ? I can't wait for the racing season to start up there, I plan on going back up for the open track day at the end of may. If you are ever interested in going on a car cruise, we have a bunch of up coming events. Here are some of the pictures I took to give you an idea in case you are interested. http://www.flickr.com/photos/andyjablonski/

Whoa, I could get lost in your photos for hours! Nice participation. Keep me informed -- I don't make many cruises, but I can't make any I don't know about

My first track day at Road America is with PCA-Mke May 8-9. I'm back again May 27 and 28.

There are two upcoming events that I know of right now, The first one is http://supercarsaturday.com/index.html There is already a 60-70 cars registered for this, The only bad thing is that it is in Illinois which is a pretty good drive for you.

The second is The first event is one week away. May 9, 2009 at 3:45 PM - Kelly's Bleachers Cruise and Dinner. Currently, we have over 140 people that I am aware (meaning I have emails for) that will be joining (Listed at the bottom of this email). Please let me know if you are going to attend by replying to this email (if you have not done so already) . If I missed listing you, I apoogize and please let me know that as well. Please feel free to invite others from your respective forums as well. My goal is to get to 200 cars for this event. Hopefully, we can get there.

The meeting spot will be at Park & Ride in Big Bend - http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/travel/...s/wauk6715.htm- Please be at the park & ride lot inbetween 3:30 PM and 3:45 PM. We will be departing at 4:00 PM promptly.
For those individuals that are coming from the south (Kenosha, Racine, and Illinois), the meeting spot to cruise to the park & ride lot is at the Iron Skillet located at 717 S Sylvania Avenue, Sturtevant, WI 53177. Please be at the Iron Skillet inbetween 2:45 PM and 3:00 PM. Promptly at 3:00 PM, my friend Tony D (Ford GT), Mike F (Ford GT), and Theo M (Blown C5 Z06) will lead the way to the Big Bend Park & Ride Lot. Please let me know if you will be meeting up at the Iron Skillet to cruise to the park & ride.

For those individuals coming from the Madison area, please be at the West Town Mall in the JC Penny Parking Lot i(NE Side) inbetween 1:25 PM and 2:00 PM. The group will be leaving promptly at 2:00 PM. If you have any questions - email Jared at [email protected].

Please make sure you have a full tank of gas (Not that you will go through it all). The cruise is roughly 75 miles through the back roads. It is the same exact route that was taken before. Mike F (Ford GT) and I took the route this past weekend, and their is no construction on the route.

Obviously, I will be monitoring the weather the week of May 9, 2009 to ensure that the weather is going to be nice. More to come and I look forward to catching up with everyone.

This event is what most of the pictures I have up from last year are from.

I was planning on heading up to RA at the end of the month with my friend and his GT3 so maybe we will cross paths then. Is the may 8 and 9th event open to spectators?

I'm surprised. Usually, if you sign the track waiver, they'll let you in to watch your buddies.

Both days were a hoot! Saturday was a challenge in the rain, but very educational. My wife and I were in back to back run groups. She'd drive her car and I'd coach. Then I'd drive mine and she'd finally see what I was saying

I also demonstrated the limit of traction in the rain. Oops. That, too, was very educational. In the dry, I'm around 90 mph in the carousel. In the wet, I was routinely at 70 mph. So I tried 74. Seemed a good, stable pace...Then, snap spin and pea gravel. Wife was cool, "Why did that happen?" "Uh, I exceeded the required grip." Lesson learned. Only my ego was damaged. Sure glad I didn't learn that one the hard way in the kink.

I was suprised that they would ont let me in too, what can you do though, i'll just have to come up at the end of the month to watch.

Did the rain clear at all for you guys on saturday, it was a bit overcast on the cruise but still very enjoyable.

Glad to hear you and your wife had a good time and no damage was done to the car.

Here is another event that just came up if you are interested.

This year (2009) I will be having a spring exotic car get together and later this summer my (third annual) fall exotic car get together at my home in Caledonia, WI. Caledonia is just south of Milwaukee County, WI. Exit Seven Mile Road. The date is set for June 7th, 2009.

Web page from the 2008 year fall get together:

http://www.rodneydickman.com/show/

The 2009 fall get together will be in late August.

I have a flyer for the spring 2009 exotic car get together at my house. Email me and I will send one out via email.

[email protected]

Carla is taking care of attendance. Anyone looking to attend please email Carla. Even if you are not sure if you can make it please email Carla. In the days coming up to this event we will be sending out emails to all so we can get an idea on how many will attend for food and drinks. As always there is no charge to attend. The only requirement is that you drive an exotic car here. This is a private get together. Rain date is June 14th.

Carla: [email protected]

The album is exotic car party on my picture site to give you an idea of what last year was like.

I'm brand new to the site as I just bought my first ferrari, a 1992 348 TS. If you pick up on this post let me know, I live in Brookfield, Suburb of Milwaukee and would enjoy further discussions and road trips. David [email protected] 414-915-8379
