Road trip #1 begins tomorrow morning! WS-> StL.

I'm holding NLDS and NLCS tickets now. With a little help from above, WS will not be far behind.

And thank goodness neither of us will have to see Jake Arrieta pitch.

Lights out, Bucs.

Hey Doug, old buddy old pal

I'll be at a rehearsal dinner on Saturday night across from Busch if anyone wants to meet for a drink at Ballpark Village afterwards.

Lol - my cousins wedding, 2 rehearsal dinners, and the wedding is at the 4 seasons, probably the most expensive wedding I'll ever go to. You'll probably find me at the blackjack table during the dancing

Cards - Cubs, this is what October baseball is all about, where's Steve Bartman when you need him?

Fantastic night of baseball.

The Cubs minor league team showed some potential - their coach left the weakening pitcher in guess he wanted to give him some extra inning work while MM managed the MLB team with perfection in the late innings first Siegrist who was simply perfect and inserting Pham for a home run then Rosenthal closing.

Hate to admit - it was a tight game and a much needed win.

Nice view. Lackey was dominant, had a no-no going for a while, one stat they had up last night was that the winner of game 1 wins the divisional series something like 78% of the time, I just don't want to see Jake Arrietta in a crucial game 4 or 5

Cards are 8-0 when winning game 1 of an NLDS.

Cubs are 0-11 when losing game 1 of any playoff series.

Arrietta can only do so much.

Did I mention the Cubs look good for a minor league team.

Chas stats are meaningless when it comes to the Cubs in playoffs - data less.

0-11 seems like a decent sample size

Cards defense seems confused by small ball.
