Dermot, Would love to make it but will have to wave from the water. Was invited to go on the Hornblower that is being rented out by one of the tech giants in the area.

Yes, we'll both be there, at the SFYC point into the bay...grab a hotdog as we pass the club house, but NO Ferraris as SF-Cops are very unfriendly lately to Tubis, and front licenseplate missing: Taking the Pickup.

I'm assuming traffic will be bad, any idea if it's better to go over the Golden Gate or Bay bridge? (im coming from San Ramon) Also, Do you know what might be the best time to travel to avoid traffic as much as possible?

Thanks for any advice

From San Ramon the Golden Gate would not make sense at all, that is way out of the way.

Wouldn't you come across 92 then up 101? Exit off 9th street from 101 and work your way over to Franklin Street, that will take you right smack to Bay Street. Hang a left, stay in far right lane and you'll be coming up on the the yacht club at your second right after the park area.

I did not think about that route Andrew, that would avoid the two worst bridges! Appreciate the advice my friend :-)

Going to Truckee. Won't be around. Wife's uncle 's idea for the Navy Flight Demonstration Team, and he led them on two occasions. Next time, anybody want to see it from the top of the restricted area: 15500 feet? I've done that before a very interesting watch.

One of the things that a lot of people do when they want to have all the benefits of a boat, but they don't want any of the hassles is to join a boat club or a Yacht club. A lot of the clubs available right online allow you to buy a membership and use their fleet of boats such as Catalina Yachts.
